The Waitrose #MakesChristmas campaign was introduced to celebrate all of the individual moments that make Christmas so special for Waitrose  customers.

Andrew Hendry, Assistant Marketing Manager, Social Media , Waitrose, said: ‘On Twitter, Instagram and Facebook,  Waitrose is encouraging people to share what #MakesChristmas for them. For sharing these moments one lucky winner will win the ultimate Christmas dinner for 12 people’
Throughout the festive season, Waitrose will also be surprising and delighting customers who engage with the campaign, rewarding customers at random with Christmas gifts, including Christmas puddings, Champagne, mince pies, chocolates and mulled wine.

Karen Graley, Waitrose packaging and reprographics manager said:   ‘ With Ultimate Digital’s help we are delivering personalised gifts to winners, wishing them a very merry Christmas from Waitrose’
The personalised sleeves and bottle bags are printed on a HP Indigo press demonstrating how flexible this technology is. Orders are placed with Ultimate Digital on Monday each week and are printed, finished and delivered back to Waitrose within 48 hours.

Chris Tonge, Executive Director, Ultimate Group said:

‘It is great to be part of such an exciting campaign with Waitrose and to be able to demonstrate the quality and flexibility that digital print can deliver to such a premium brand.

Digital print allows you to throw away the old rule book, without digital this sort of campaign that instantly engages with customers was just not possible’
